      <![CDATA[“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government …”<br>

This means the federal government will present itself to each state as a republican form of government, not that the federal government has the right to intrude itself into each state and determine which laws are acceptable to it. Of course, it does that anyway, usually by blackmailing states into subservience by withholding the redistribution of wealth it has taken from the country's producers so it can buy votes by giving it to the unproductive.<br>
<br>
Liberals love to spout the U.S. Constitution when they find a tidbit that they think will support their argument for whatever legal action they are bringing to challenge anything that they don't like, but then conveniently ignore the U.S. Constitution when laws are passed that they agree with.
