That choice of words clearly illustrates the mentality prevalent among some elected officials - who've forgotten that they are public SERVANTS and not a new ruling class.

Party officials do not work for elected officials - in military parlance, Rep. Larry Liston (or Rep. Amy Stephens) is NOT in the "chain of command" for county party officers.

If anything, Liston's comment better represents "gross insubordination" to the will of the voters he (theoretically) represents.

Fortunately, those voters have the opportunity to conduct a "change of command" via the caucus and primary election process in 2012...
