If he were "acutely aware" of damaging the environment, he wouldn't be living in Banning Lewis Ranch, miles and miles and miles away from his job, shopping and amenities. I have a hard time understanding people who claim to be environmentalists yet fail to see that having to drive everywhere in order to do anything runs counter to what they say they are.
