1) Government complexity and confusion with too many agencies involved in the 'regulation' process has failed to regulate those in need of regulation adding to the cost of doing business for industry with no real benefit to the public.

2) A clear failure for an authoritative, knowledgeable source to properly acquaint the local public facts that are known and proven on the fracking process, chemicals used, and experience learned in other areas.

3) A serious effort by the county commissioners to interfere in the state regulatory process that has appeared adequate and in need of very little local involvement (see point 1 above).

Mrs Clark, Mrs Lathen, and particularly Mrs Littleton appeared to day as little girls all dressed up parading around in mommies high heel shoes trying to be grownups. They are inserting themselves in a process where there presence has provided no real benefit other than to play to the crowd knowing an election is just over the horizon with each a little scared they have already shot themselves in their collective footsies on other issues.

More than likely, we are going to see this uneducated meddling result in action that will get slapped down by the state or the courts.
