Yes, smartestman, whether the number is some, many, or most psychologists I do not know, but I did not mean to imply that all psychologists subscribe to this view.

There is a lot of evidence in favor of a mob connection with the Kennedy assassination, but I do not believe that the assassination was the result of being mobbed up. I believe there are two plausible popular explanations.

Yes there has been a "benefit" from the interstate system as far as transportation goes. Whatever the intentions of Eisenhower or anyone else at that time really were, the fact is that it has been totally utilized by the modern military-police state of America; and trade with foreign powers which have destroyed our sovereignty as a self-productive nation--just as the railroad system has been used, almost immediatley after its introduction, to mobilize the corporate and banking powers that be.

Mr. Augenstein, I see nothing charitable in your characterization of the poor as "challenged by the gene pool that produced them."

Way back before lead was banned from paint by pesky, liberal do-gooders, children living in poverty often ended up eating the flakes of lead paint peeling off the walls in sub-standard housing, which left them mentally retarded. Clearly, poverty brings with it environmental challenges that have nothing to do with the "gene pool."

What about those people who had jobs before the current depression and now live in poverty?

Revolutionary30, I enjoyed smartestman's lecture as well, but I disagree with him and with you as to who are the productive ones and who are the parasites. In fact, his diatribe could have been taken word-for-word from Bolshevik propaganda.

By the way, in my humble opinion, John F. Kennedy was assassinated for pushing for integration and full civil rights for Afro-Americans in the South.

Special K: I know you are licking your wounds and going through a period of self-doubt, but before you respond with your typical BS, read this article in this morning's Wall Street Journal. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405…
As has been discussed, Obama is not the only one that has led us down this path (just the most aggressive in that regard).

To None of the A: You are wasting your time attempting to explain anything to the egoist, Mr. K. He, like his liberal /progressive comrades, must revert to subterfuge in feeble attempts to debate. Notice when I mentioned the "European model" that our friend Obama is trying so hard to emulate, K first changed the wording to "European socialism" and then to straight "socialist".
