      <![CDATA[Retro...its still a mess, no matter what excuses you make for the way it is; and for the millions of dollars it cost, one ought not to have to make excuses for the way it turned out.<br>
<br>
The next thing you know you will be telling us the reason the traffic lights are so out of sync is because the streets are so wide.<br>
<br>
I have been here long enough to hear all the old excuses for a piss poor city streets department.<br>

      <![CDATA[To TejonTech:  Firstly, it's "Woodmen" not "Woodman"; secondly, when people complain about grade-seperated interchanges, especially one that was retrofitted into a narrow right of way space, it reveals their naivete and tells me that your'e probably haven't lived many places.

      <![CDATA[According to the Gazette they laid off the traffic engineer...he should be let go given some of the screwy traffic decisions made on his watch. The traffic flow in this town makes it dangerous for older drivers.

      <![CDATA[Frankly, the city has never seemed to have a plan or a vision, so maybe that is exactly where the cuts need to happen, although I think Pam Zubeck makes a good point about needs around fire recovery.<br>
<br>
Lionel made cuts only to services residents liked in order to punish us for not voting for his needs and wants...that is when our city lost steam. Hopefully these cuts will be wiser and we can begin to recover from Lionel.
