      <![CDATA[Jack, I agree that overpopulation (also related to growth/sprawl, which has largely affected my district, 2) is an issue that is rarely addressed by policy-makers. I am in the process of planning an educational forum (with Dave Gardner, creator of "Growthbusters" confirmed as one guest speaker) on the various consequences of unbridled growth & overpopulation and weaving our Ten Key Values into a solution.

      <![CDATA[Stanford scientists who have examined the Earth's "carrying capacity" for humans have concluded that it can only handle about one billion people (at a decent standard of living) for the very long haul. We now have about 7 billion humans.
