TejonTech wondered why the federal government needed to bail out people who should have been covered by insurance, but the bill Lamborn voted nay on will fund the National Flood Insurance Program so that those who are insured can be paid.

Several contributors commented on the so-called "pork" included in the bill.

New Jersey already received that sort of help. This $60 billion is unlike any money we have or will receive for rebuilding homes etc.

The people in Mountain Shadows aren't getting such help at all...so you comparing apples and oranges.
