What is interesting here is how the readership of the Indy includes so few republicans...because they are are all steamed about this, and yet there are no posts defending them when they are called old goats who need to be put out to pasture to eat noxious weeds.

Hill is correct...the old goats of the Republican Party have brought us two democratic senators, legalized MJ, failed to deliver Colorado for Romney, and have basically fallen into irrelevancy.

So, Owen Hill offers a new vision and a new hope of energetic listening and caring...a principled leader to replace the self-indugent and self-aggrandizing old guard who have lost their grip on reality and been passed by and over run in the flood of liberalism that swept the state while they were asleep at the switch.
