A weekly photographic feature 

Jacques Miller rescued this frightened raccoon from the clock outside Rutledges, at the corner of Tejon Street and Pikes Peak Avenue. The Humane Society, the Department of Wildlife and the fire department all refused to rescue the animal, suggesting it was natural for the raccoon to be there. The Independent seeks compelling images for InSight, our new weekly photographic feature. Entries may be submitted electronically or by mail, and need to be at least 5" x 7". Electronic images must be at least 200 lines per inch in a jpeg or tiff format and should be emailed to art@csindy.com (please include "InSight submission" in subject line). Prints or disks may be mailed to The Colorado Springs Independent, 121 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Suite 455, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, attn. Art Director. (Include a s.a.s.e. if you would like it returned.) Please include some basic biographical information (your name, age, address, etc.), as well as a short caption explaining the content of the photograph or how it was taken.
