Bites 2012

The Vasquez family's Circle Drive location turns 46 this year, which says plenty. Its second spot just opened in early January. You'll find popular chile rellenos and shredded beef enchiladas at both, but specials and new items like a Pueblo-style slopper at the spot next to the Navajo Hogan.

InSider 2011

Bean Bandit has been a staple Tex-Mex destination under the care of the Vasquez family for 45 years. They’ve outlasted a list of failed competitors as long as their menu. Go-for items include the tender and rich pork-avocado burritos and the hearty, gooey chile rellenos, followed by an order of sopapillas.
