For Your Consideration, Guest's - newest, falls victim to this very ailment and comes off as - a bit of a letdown. Eschewing the mockumentary for a - more linear approach, this behind-the-scenes story of a - group of actors who might be up for an Oscar is a bit - retreaded and boring, with moderate laughs here and - there. Don't mess with the formula, Guest! If this film - had retained the sensibility that fans have come to know, - For Your Consideration would have been on a - couple of Top 10 lists. Alas, it didn't, and it wasn't. - Louis Fowler

George Carlin lauds the - counterculture icon as an inspiration, since he's coined - such terms as "cosmic schmuck" and asserted that - "stupidity has an evolutionary function." Maybe - Logic spends intimate time with Wilson as he suffers - the late stages of post-Polio syndrome. His closeness to - death is palpable (he died in early January), yet his - approach is irreverent and comical. The film jumps - between archival lecture footage and more recent - interviews that feel more like hangin' out in stoned - vortexes than formal Q & A sessions. It makes for odd - entertainment, if you dig mind jobs. Matthew - Schniper
