If you couldn't make it to the Design for Hope gala Friday night at the Promenade Shops at Briargate (read: If HGTV's Matt Locke wasn't enough to lure that $25 out of your pocket), don't fret. You can still catch the innovative room designs from 10 teams of Pikes Peak Community College interior design students this weekend. Focused on sustainability, energy efficiency and environmentally friendly products, these green designs are sure to appeal to the enviro-geek within us all, or at least those of us looking to save a buck. The display is also open for tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 today at the Promenade Shops at Briargate (1885 Briargate Pkwy. #207, 447-9898). Admission on these days is only $5; all proceeds benefit CASA of the Pikes Peak Region. — Ken Voeller
