Eric Thomas, aka the ET Hip Hop Preacher, brings the cultures of hip-hop and preaching together to help troubled youths find their "full potential" through his nonprofit organization and a handful of other outreach programs he started. The high school dropout — now pursuing his PhD at Michigan State — spits at 7 tonight at the Occhiato University Center Ballroom at Colorado State University-Pueblo (2200 Bonforte Blvd., Pueblo, colostate-pueblo.edu/speakers) as part of CSU-P's Distinguished Speaker series.
