Impractical, Impossible, Intuitive, Interpretive, Interplanetary Arts: Everything We Know So Far

When: Aug. 6-27 2010

In addition to the GOCA 121 show opening tonight (see "Post-picturesque," here), August offers a wealth of other art openings, many tied in with the First Friday Walks in Old Colorado City and Pueblo. In town, enjoy the works of Kat and Bob Tudor (extensively named Impractical, Impossible, Intuitive, Interpretive, Interplanetary Arts: Everything We Know So Far) at Smokebrush Gallery (218 W. Colorado Ave., #211, smokebrush.org). In Pueblo, hit the Fifth and Main Espresso Bar (421 N. Main St., Pueblo, 719/542-1209) for modern and contemporary works in Random Musing: Artwork by SK Cothren and Karla Lee-E. If ceramics grab you, head to Cup & Bowl Gallery and Studio's Wine and Fig Leaves, which will present firing demonstrations and wine samples tonight (116 Midway Ave., Pueblo, cupandbowl.org). — Edie Adelstein
