Art begets art in the best way tonight, as Ormao Dance Company performs inside the galleries of the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center (30 W. Dale St., ormaodance.org) in conjunction with the FAC's Floyd D. Tunson: Son of Pop exhibition. With performances at 5:30 and 7, the troupe will dance five original works — with music composed by Glen Whitehead — inspired by Tunson's art, exploring ideas of "generations, freedom, cultural awareness, racism, and history." Tickets run $15 to $25, with another trio of shows happening Nov. 9. — Edie Adelstein
