IQ: Are you ready for Y2K?

Are you ready for Y2K? Don't be confused over how many guns you might need, or sacks of flour or cases of freeze-dried food. Instead, we should all just show up for the new millennium with a good attitude. OK, and a cord of firewood, just in case.

Where will you be for New Year's? At the Alka-thon. It's a function for Alcoholics Anonymous. It's going to be a sober event for people that have a problem with drinking, because there will be so much drinking involved [on New Year's]. I'll participate there.

What do you expect will happen at midnight on New Year's Eve? Very, very little.

Which terrifies you more: the Apocalypse or Y2K? Oh, the Apocalypse!

What will you stock up on? Nothing ... However, I have a friend of mine ... I will go to his house if necessary.

Where will you be for New Year's? I'm going to be at Nags Head, North Carolina, at a beach house on the water, with 10 other people and four or five dogs and a bunch of kids.

What do you expect will happen at midnight on New Year's Eve? A lot of drinking, maybe a few power outages.

Which terrifies you more: the Apocalypse or Y2K? Everybody's anxiety about Y2K and the Apocalypse.

What will you stock up on? Water. That would be it.

Where will you be for New Year's? I have no plans yet.

What do you expect will happen at midnight on New Year's Eve? People are going to have a lot of fun. People are going to party like they've never partied before, I'll tell you that.

Which terrifies you more: the Apocalypse or Y2K? I guess the Apocalypse. Y2K ... we kind of can prepare ourselves for that, and we know what to do. But the Apocalypse, we don't know when or where or what's going to happen.

What will you stock up on? Nothing really. I think they're really blowing this all out of proportion.
