What's the best thing that happened to you this year? The fact that we got transferred to Colorado Springs!
What's best about Colorado Springs? The views, the rocks, the majesty of the whole place -- it's just beautiful. It's very different from Pennsylvania.
What's the best thing about you? That I was willing to move to Colorado Springs after being raised in Pittsburgh!
What's the best decade of this century? I think this decade. There's lots of changes in the world, exciting things coming forth, new possibilities.
What's the best thing that happened to you this year? Oh my. Shoot, you might want to put a stop on it and let me think. I'm a German -- we don't answer those things easily.
What's best about Colorado Springs? I have not seen one cockroach living here in seven years. I have lived in many places around the world, and I've never been in a place where I've not seen one cockroach. That means a lot to me.
What's the best decade of this century? Hey, I like the '90s, with all the possibilities of internationalization, and the communications revolution.

What's the best thing that happened to you this year? Probably finding my passion in teaching.
What's best about Colorado Springs? The fact that every time you come downtown, you're bound to run into someone you know, and it's a friendly place.
Who is better, Bill Owens or Chuck Baker? Neither of them. I guess I'd have to go with somebody imaginary, like the Great Pumpkin, since it's getting to be Halloween time.
What's the best thing about you? I guess my compassion, like how I don't judge people.
