IQ: Primetime live

Last week we, the viewing public, were in for some special treats -- like watching Tonya Harding whup Paula Jones and the Partridge Family's Danny whomp on Greg from the Brady Bunch in widely hyped TV wrestling matches. Locally, Channel 13 pulled last week's Primetime about gay parenthood in favor of CC hockey. TV may be bottom feeding, but it sure gets us talking.

What two local "celebrities" would you like to see duke it out in the ring? Betty Beedy and Richard Skorman. I'd love to see Beedy get her clock cleaned.

Who'd win? I have a hunch it'd be Beedy. She looks pretty mean.

What's about KRDO pulling the Primetime show about adoptive gay parents? Actually, it was aired, but late at night. I stayed up just to watch it, and I thought it was interesting and well done.

If you had to duke it out a la Harding and Jones, who'd be your opponent? James Dobson, Kevin Tebedo or a road-rage driver.

Which two locals would you like to see slug it out? DJs Chris Knight and Capt. Dan.

Who'd win? Probably Chris Knight, though I have no idea what either looks like sizewise.

What's your view on Channel 13 pulling Primetime last week? I almost never watch TV, but that's one show I really wanted to see. I was extremely annoyed that they pulled it.

If you had to do it, who'd you go into the ring with? Calista Flockhart. She's so little that even I could whup her.

What two locals would you pay to see duke it out? Doug Bruce and John Hazlehurst.

Who'd win? Probably Bruce. I suspect he enjoys pain.

What do you think about Channel 13 pulling Primetime last week? We need forums. I like to see issues discussed, not censured.

If you had to do a celebrity death match, who'd be your opponent? Mayor Mary Lou Makepeace. She ruled against my neighborhood in favor of Renaissance Academy.

Which two local figures would you most like to duke it out? Chuck Knight of Magic and Mary Lou Makepeace.

Who'd win? Probably Makepeace.

Was Channel 13 right to pull Primetime last week? I want to hear what's going on in the world. They should have let it run.

Should gays adopt? If they can provide a stable, loving home for kids, why in the world not?

Who would you pick to duke it out with in the ring? My ex-husband.
