Is Valentine's Day a capitalist plot? A capitalist plot? No.
What should be the alternative holiday for those not romantically involved? Wow, for people who don't have significant others? How about a Friendship Day?
What would be a true gift from the heart for the one you love? Probably a trip to Scotland to play golf.
What do you wish your sweetie would do for you? A day at the spa.

Is Valentine's Day a capitalist plot? I hope so. It's one of those holidays where I think you have to have a reason to go out and have a good time. We just came off of New Year's and have gone a whole month without having a good time. Any excuse to go out and show someone you love them and to have a nice time.
What should be the alternative holiday for those not romantically involved? The-sky-is-falling Day.
What would be a true gift from the heart for the one you love? An absolute, from-top-to-toe massage with hot oil, candlelight, and a little champagne. Indulge him in relaxing and making him feel good.
What do you wish your sweetie would do for you? Probably the same, but along with flowers -- and book a trip somewhere exotic like Bora-Bora. I'm a dreamer!

What should be the alternative holiday for those not romantically involved? Single-and-loving-it Day.
What would be a true gift from the heart for the one you love? I would give her time. Giving her time, giving my time for her.
What do you wish your sweetie would do for you? Do my laundry. No, doing something I would like to do that maybe she wouldn't. Like going to a sporting event or something. She would do it for me, even though she hated it.
