IQ: The Silver Screen

Everybody likes the movies. The boob tube -- and everything it implies -- might be evil, but the movies, they're magic. Casablanca? A classic. Charlie Chaplin? Hilarious! People who cast off film as trivial entertainment need to take another look, in a different light. Colorado hosts a wide variety of film festivals that truly are centers of art, including the annual Denver Jazz on Film Festival, The Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival, and the Telluride International Experimental Cinema Exposition, just to name a few.

Who's your favorite female film director? My older sister Theresa Shaw; she does independent stuff out in Salt Lake City.
What is your favorite all-women-stars film? Thelma and Louise, that's my boyfriend's favorite movie.
What star would be the one to play you in a movie about your life and why? Punky Brewster. I used to want to be Punky Brewster when I was a little kid.

What is your favorite all-women-stars film? I guess I'll just say The Piano. It's kind of dark and dreary, but wonderful.
What star would be the one to play you in a movie about your life and why? Annie Lennox because she's got my name.
