IQ: Time to wake up for school, Beav! 

District 11 is in a bind: administrators want to keep spending all that money on administrators and new schools, but constituents are really mad about the idea of closing down neighborhood schools to save money. So what now? Maybe they could ask their pals at Coca-Cola for more money.

Who was your favorite teacher? My Spanish teacher.

What was the coolest thing you learned in his/her class? The coolest thing I learned in his class was how to talk with a little bit of flare; have a little bit of attitude when you talk.

What was the name of your school district superintendent? Mr. Rodriguez ... he was Latino and we just didn't have that many of that ethnic group in our neighborhood, so that kind of stood out.

What was the name of your school district superintendent? I wouldn't have a clue.

What would you cut if you were on the school board? I actually would not cut anything. They have got to find a way to get more money. This is not a question of closing schools; they've got to leave them all open.
