IQ: Will men take the pill?

The advent of the birth control pill, 40 years ago, liberated an entire generation of women from worries of using contraceptives that didn't effectively and reliably prevent pregnancy. And it's still changing how women choose to live their lives and conduct their sex lives. Now, here comes the other half of the equation -- the possibility of male birth control pills. If such a pill were created, would men use it?

What kind of birth control do you use? Just grabbed a new one. It's gonna be Orthonoble.

Whose responsibility is it to prevent pregnancy, the man's or the woman's? Both. Totally both.

Can most men be trusted to be responsible enough to take male birth control pills? I think if it's available to them, yeah. They're just as responsible as women are.

Would you trust your partner to be responsible enough? Oh, yes. Definitely.

Whose responsibility is it to prevent pregnancy, the man's or the woman's? I think it's kind of a combined effort there. I mean, you can't put the blame all on one person. I think the guy has a lot of responsibility to wrap it up. ... I think the female has a lot of responsibility to make sure that the man is doing his part.

Can most men be trusted to be responsible enough to take male birth control pills? I would like to say yeah, but I doubt it. I don't think that most would.

Would you trust yourself to be responsible enough? Yeah.
