Ms. Carolyn Kidder

Customer Relations Manager

Dairy Queen Corporation

7505 Metro Blvd.

Edina, MN 55439

Dear Ms. Kidder:

I'm mad. Mad, mad, mad, mad, mad.

Well, maybe not that mad.

Here's my beef: An employee at one of your Colorado Springs stores informed me that corporate policy forbids her from putting Oreos on a sundae. Mind you, I wasn't at the drive-through window to see what I might wish to purchase at a later date. No, this was to be MY ice-cream sundae right then and there!

I could probably get more mileage out of this grievance by claiming I drove away in disgust, but I just ordered a different sundae.

But that's not the point. What kind of lawyers does Dairy Queen employ that can't negotiate the right to put Oreos on a sundae? Is Nabisco really that badass? Or is there some larger agenda to deny people their God-given right to: sugar, flour, hydrogenated soybean oil, cocoa, high fructose corn syrup, whey, corn starch, baking soda, salt, soy lecithin, vanillin and chocolate?

I'll have you know that as a regular listener of Art Bell's radio program I'm well aware that things aren't always what they seem to be. I may be mad, but I'm not naive.

An explanation is in order.
