Ladies and gentlemen, our worst fears may come to pass: a possible remake of My Fair Lady. Sure, the studios have already sullied The Karate Kid, and butchered Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (not to mention the Honda Super Bowl commercial that shouldn't have been within 10 feet of Ferris). But Eliza Doolittle? She's too awesome to be played by Carey Mulligan. And Colin Firth as the professor? Sure, if you want it to become a goddamn tragedy.
