Writing a memoir can be a dizzyingly challenging experience, with you exposing your soul to the world in a way that Jesus H. Christ would respect. And having a community of supportive writers journeying along with you can be a godsend — since not everyone can handle a Gethsemane moment, sweating blood alone in the thick garden of emotions. (Yuck.) To get started, or get feedback, the Monument Branch of the Pikes Peak Library District (1706 Lake Woodmoor Drive, ppld.org) is hosting a memoir support group at 10 a.m. on the first and third Mondays of every month.
