Who's playing the IMAs

There'll be no envelopes or acceptance speeches, which probably means no heartfelt expressions of gratitude for Jesus or the Junior Chamber of Commerce. But there will be live performances — three stages' worth — at our free Indy Music Awards Festival. So set aside Thursday, Sept. 8, to go see our first-place winners live. We'll also be adding a couple more artists between now and next week, but in the meantime, here's the current lineup:

Black P

DJ Brandon Lee

Edith Makes a Paper Chain

El Toro de la Muerte

From Slaves to Kings

Grass It Up

Haunted Windchimes

Jake Loggins

Malakai

Mango Fan Django

Positively Pikes Peak artists

40 oz. Freedom Fighters

  • So set aside Thursday, Sept. 8, to go see our first-place winners at Stargazers.
