Advance Cure for Vera Bestura

Advance Cure for Vera Bestura offers organic medicine, as well as edibles, tinctures, rubs and accessories.

All Saints Medical

Located across from the Black Sheep on East Platte Avenue, ASM offers a small assortment of edibles, as well as an extremely discounted quarter-ounce of marijuana when a patient signs up. Members and non-members alike can purchase eighths for around $35, and ounces for $200 to $220.

Alternative Medicine Colorado Springs

Expect to find glassware and accessories, as well as hash, hash oils, edibles and tinctures. Grams start at $7, and eighths at $25. Members receive at least 20 percent off at all times; also find discounts for seniors and those who serve in the military.

Altitude Organic Medicine

In response to letters sent by the Colorado U.S. Attorney's office, Altitude moved off the west side to a downtown location, across from McCabe's Tavern. It still offers all-organic strains, tinctures, lotions, earwax hash and edibles. If spliffs are your thing, find a variety of large joints.

Amendment 20 Caregivers

Located in the concrete-heavy shopping center that also holds Extreme Bargains, Amendment 20 offers low prices, for members and non-members alike. Find pipes, edibles and massage oils, among other offerings, in a "homey, roomy environment," says one employee. Note: The center's owned by Tanya Garduno, who also serves as president of the Colorado Springs Medical Cannabis Council.

American Wellness Center

Reza Hassani's American Wellness Center offers members free eighths from among its strains every two months, as well as 3.7 grams of cannabis with every purchase of an eighth. Also find earwax hash, Dixie Elixirs, medicated chews, brownies, clones and bath accessories. Note: Eighths here typically run from $22.95 to $39.97.

Best Budz

Located on the northeast corner of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Academy Boulevard, Best Budz provides edibles, drinks, hash, tinctures and a large assortment of glassware. All members of the center get $60 quarters.

Bijou Wellness Center

Military-veteran-owned Bijou Wellness Center offers edibles, infused products such as Moon Rocks, high-end organic strains and a variety of therapies. Look for a focus on servicing the needs of veterans and active military members, as well as specials on Facebook.

Briargate Wellness Center

Joe DiFabio's BWC is a fully licensed center, confidently offering edibles, tinctures, creams and lotions, not to mention hash oil, keef and $25 grams or $80 eighths of Caviar.

Broadmoor Wellness Center

The center just south of downtown offers a spa-like atmosphere, where you can find candies, vaporizers, tinctures, hash caps, lotions, balms and more. Look for rotating specials as well. A recent renovation resulted in a new handicap-accessible entrance and new counters.

Canna Caregivers

Canna Caregivers offers a one-stop-shop experience, growing over 70 strains and selling a large variety of edibles and concentrates. The location on Powers also has a large selection of glassware and accessories.

Canna Meds Wellness Center

Billed as "a full wellness center," CMWC offers all the usual lotions and balms, pipes, jewelry, hash and edibles. Five to seven different strains are typically harvested every week, so the stock is "constantly revolving," says owner Chris Rice. Eighths for top-shelf meds typically run around $25 for members, and the center's open seven days a week.

Cannabicare

Located near Peterson Air Force Base, Cannabicare is offering $25 to $35 eighths for members, along with smoking accessories and edibles. Some specials: At the end of the week comes "fatty Friday," and every Saturday and Sunday nonmembers receive member pricing, for which first-time customers are always eligible.

Cannabis Therapeutics

Cannabis Therapeutics offers its members $21 top-shelf eighths, and daily specials including eighths starting at $12. Also find a variety of infused products like medicated bubble bath, edibles like bubble gum, and a variety of smoking accessories, all sent out the door in odor-proof, waterproof bags.

Crossroads MMC

Owner Triton Gulczynski, whose center is tucked away in an industrial park, says to look for a full lineup of edibles, $10 grams, and a $180-per-ounce mix-and-match special.

A Cut Above

A Cut Above offers a waiting room featuring a big-screen TV and leather couches, leading to a separate space containing edibles, tinctures, hash, joints and medical pain relievers.

Doctors Orders

Doctors Orders offers glassware, earwax hash, stash boxes, $10 grams of bubble hash on Wednesdays, and a variety of edibles. Member pricing includes $30 eighths, $60 quarters and $205 ounces.

Eagle's Nest Wellness Center

Eagle's Nest Wellness Center, located in the old Swiss Miss building, offers holistic and naturopathic medicines. There's also a dispensary, which the religion of Ho'ala Huna considers a natural offshoot of its practice, as well as an extensive lineup of glass pipes.

Enlightened Care

Behind the Wendy's lies Enlightened Care, which one employee describes as a "café-style" center, with a coffee bar, waiting room and a showcase of different medications. Additionally, look for what the center describes as one of the city's largest selections of edibles, tinctures, bubble hash, keef and oils.

FRAM

Front Range Alternative Medicines has daily specials, and offers earwax hash, edibles, vaporizers, bongs, glass pipes and dab nails.

Green Earth Wellness Center

Green Earth folks say they specialize in higher-end medicines and edibles, and carry all flavors of Dixie Elixirs & Edibles and Keef Cola. You'll also find a full line of rubs, tinctures and related items in a space with an art-gallery feel.

The Green House

The center offers an on-site notary, lots of hash and Caviar, and a wide range of edibles. Beyond all that, owner Isaac Mavashev says the center has some of the cheapest pipes in town.

Green Pharm

Co-owner Gary [last name withheld] says, "Though we are in a discreet location, it's well worth it." As proof, grams of medication start at $7.50, eighths at $24, and ounces at $180 (though members may find ounces as low as $162). Also find hash products, accessories, various infused products and more.

Grow Life

GrowLife says strains are 100-percent organic and soil-based (as opposed to hydroponically grown). It also sports exclusive growers so that each strain is unique to the center. Specials-wise, all eighths are less than $40 with caregiver designation. Grow Life also dedicates a wall to an artist of the month.

H.E.M.P.

Higher Elevation Medical Products has made its home behind Fargo's Pizza Co. Members and non-members alike enjoy low prices, such as no eighth over $30, which drops to $15 on select days.

Happy Buddha Wellness

Owned by Terry Cullen, Happy Buddha Wellness offers a pleasant atmosphere and a private location, next to offices for a dentist and massage therapist. Look for $25 eighths and $185 ounces on all strains, for members.

Hawaiian Herbal Health Center

The center — located down the road from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs — offers "a warm tropical feeling and plenty of 'aloha,' along with being discreet." Find medicated spa products, tinctures, hash, balms and Hawaiian souvenirs.

The Healing Canna

Once you make it through its discreet, no-sign entrance, the Healing Canna offers a large, well-lit waiting area for patients. Also find punch cards that offer a free eighth after 12 are purchased, a refer-a-friend program where both parties receive $20 eighths, and daily Web updates.

The Healthy Connections

The Healthy Connections offers a wide selection of keef, plus vaporizers, related smoking accessories and a punch-card promotion where your eighth eighth-of-an-ounce is just a dollar.

Heavenly Medical Caregivers

Employees say 100 percent of the medication at Heavenly Medical Caregivers is grown indoors using a hydroponic system.

The Hemp Center

Co-owner Jim [last name withheld] says members receive a gram and joint after signing up, 5-gram eighths thereafter, and an eighth on their birthday. "We have an RN on staff and an herbalist," says Jim, adding: "We make our own salves, lotions and candy," not to mention their own fertilizer.

The Herb Shoppe

Owned by husband-and-wife team Ashley and Kasey Knutson, THS offers $25 eighths on select strains to all patients, and 10-percent off edibles to members. Also find clones, earwax hash, hash oil and bubble hash.

Humboldt Care and Wellness Center

Members who have just joined receive a $20 credit, and can take advantage of $22 eighths ($25 for nonmembers). "As far as edibles," says one employee, "we do have a lot of edibles."

Indispensary

Sister to Independent Records, Indispensary combines more than 30 years of customer service experience with a high-altitude, all-organic cultivation facility. Earlier this year, it became one of the first in the city to feel the federal government's wrath when it was forced to close its downtown location under threat of prosecution, because of its proximity to Palmer High School.

JP Wellness

JP Wellness features a large revolving selection of medications, concentrates and edibles. As far as perks, members receive 20-percent off of edibles, and all patients can receive a 10th eighth-ounce of cannabis after purchasing nine.

Levity Wellness

Levity is all about the discounts: On Mondays and Fridays get a joint with any purchase of an eighth for nonmembers (Monday through Friday for members); an eighth for those who refer patients; a buy-one-get-one eighth for the new member; 20 percent off on your first visit; occasional $150-ounce specials; and more.

Maggie's Farm

Maggie's Farm owner Bill Conkling says his centers offer a full line of hybrid indica-sativa strains, as well as a robust variety of edibles. "My focus on this thing is meds," Conkling says. "We're trying to be straight-up and simple." To that end, the grower offers 100-percent organic strains like Cold Creek Kush.

Marimeds

The self-proclaimed home of the famous Blue Cheese, Marimeds offers quality strains and edibles. Specials include: Spend $100 and get a $10 store credit, and $215 ounces.

Marisol Therapeutics

Marisol offers an extensive line of edibles and topicals. Eighths for strains — like its Knee High Grape strain, described as "more of an indica" — run around $25 for members.

Medibis

Located at the old greyhound racing track on North Nevada Avenue, Medibis offers strains grown in-house, as well as rotating daily specials for current members and credit for those who refer new ones. Look for $15, $20 and $25 eighths.

Medical Cannabis Caregivers

MC Caregivers sells cannabis, accessories, a wide range of edibles and topical lotions and oils. Instead of specials, look for prices like $33 for eighths and $200 for ounces, of anything on the shelf.

Mile High Holistics

In an environment that co-owner Susie Breward calls "a groovy, little upscale spot," Mile High Holistics offers medication, as well as a large selection of edibles, balms and accessories. As for specials, Mile High runs a different one every day of the week.

Mountain Med Club

Off West Colorado Avenue lies Mountain Med Club, which says it works with patients on an individual basis and describes itself as a "premier connoisseur dispensary." Find edibles, natural rolling papers, storage containers and hand-blown glass pipes. "Come see why, with no signage our business has doubled in the past eight months," writes one employee in an e-mail.

Mountain Medicals

Mountain Medicals, where organic marijuana's grown in soil, offers discounts to those who designate it as their center. Look for a large variety of edibles, as well as classes on how to make cannabutter and tinctures.

Natural Advantage Medical Marijuana Center

Natural Advantage offers in-house chiropractic care, information on natural herbal medicine, lifestyle and pain counseling, and doctor referrals. Members get 10 percent off of most products, and can purchase ounces of medication at wholesale prices.

Natural Mystic Cannabis Caregivers

Locally owned Natural Mystic offers a discreet downtown location with roughly 30 top-shelf strains — including its Tora Bora strain, which took third place in this year's Medical Cannabis Cup for its high CBD concentration — as well as a variety of edibles.

NaturaLeaf

Look for literature on a variety of health issues and $8 grams. Otherwise, enjoy keef and hash made in-house, as well as tinctures, balms, salves and edibles.

Nature's Way Wellness Center

Located just south of downtown, near the train tracks and warehouses, PMS offers a variety of tinctures, bath products, lotions and cannabidiol (CBD) syrups. Members and non-members enjoy like pricing, while those who name PMS as caregiver receive 10-percent off glassware and edibles.

Pikes Peak Alternative Health & Wellness

Handicap-accessible PPAHW specializes in treating hospice and cancer patients, as well as those with disabilities. There are also grow classes, while do-it-yourself patients can purchase clones and growing supplies.

In addition to top-shelf medical marijuana, Pikes Peak Cannabis Caregivers offers a wide array of edibles, infused products and smoking accessories. First-time customers who buy an eighth get a free pipe, as do patients who refer a friend.

This family-owned dispensary offers first-time customers an opportunity to buy at member pricing; as well, eight purchases of an eighth-of-an-ounce result in a complimentary one. "We're in a discreet location, with plenty of parking," notes co-owner Alex (last name withheld).

Simple Care Wellness Center

Simple Care Wellness Center "focuses on the medication," says owner Keith Northwood. Look for pipes, bath products and a wide selection of edibles. Price-wise, eighths start at $40 and grams at $15. Note: Ninety percent of the center's marijuana is grown on-site.

Southern Colorado Medical Marijuana

Co-owner Don McKay says other center owners shop at his recently expanded 10,000-square-foot center. Note: SoCoMMJ only offers prepackaged bulk, with half-ounces running in the $99 range — no grams or eighths.

Strawberry Fields Alternative Health and Wellness

The center that won last year's Indy readers' pick for best dispensary in Colorado Springs offers specialized member pricing on its "100 percent organic" medication. Also find "literally everything," says one employee, when it comes to edibles, and specials like store credit when you become a member, and even more if you renew each year.

Third Day Apothecary is located on the northeast corner of Flintridge Drive and North Academy Boulevard. The center says all strains are grown organically in-house, in soil.

Todays Health Care

The dispensary offers free rides to medical appointments for terminal cancer patients, even if they're not the center's own patients. Look for happy hours from 2 to 3 p.m. on weekdays, when patients get 10 percent off.

Total Health Concepts

Total Health Concepts offers edibles, as well as a large supply of infused products. Free, gated parking is available, plus a collection of original hand-blown Colorado glass.

Tree of Wellness

Tree of Wellness promises a comprehensive medicinal array of edibles and infused products. The center also sells pipes, and 10 different kinds of hash, plus hash oils. Most of the 100-percent organic medication comes from an expansive LED grow system.

Trichome Health Consultants

The center, which opened in late 2008, specializes in high-grade clones, and carries a large selection of edibles, infused products and topicals.

We Grow Colorado

We Grow Colorado offers edibles, glassware, vaporizers, lotions and rubs, and focuses on military veterans.

Manager Tom Scudder has an idea of why people should shop here for edibles. "We've had six [or] seven vendors say we've got the biggest selection they've ever seen," he says.
