Where's the best pizza in town? Poor Richard's. The pizza is handmade and the atmosphere is perfect for enjoying your pizza with a little wine while reading a book you like.
Rate the Colorado Springs food scene. Pretty good, but the places I enjoy most are west of I-25 — especially 503 West, Pizzeria Rustica and Jake and Telly's.
Rate local nightlife options. I'm not a fan of the downtown party scene. Live music at Front Range Barbeque on Wednesday nights is more my speed, or watching football games at Thunder and Buttons.
If you had the skill and startup money, what sort of bar or restaurant would you open? I think restaurants with limited menus that specialize in only a few really good things are best. Maybe an exceptionally good, really delicious burger place.

What's your favorite guilty pleasure, eating-wise? The wine room upstairs at La Baguette. It's one of the area's best-kept secrets. Don't tell anybody.
