Remake of the 1972 adaptation of Stanislaw Lem's novel, which takes place sometime in the future. George Clooney plays psychologist and cosmonaut Dr. Kris Kelvin, who's sent to investigate a space station that's lost all communication with Earth. In his travels Kelvin finds his dead wife (played by Natascha McElhone) alive. Directed by Steven Soderbergh.
