When Muslim rebels stage a coup in Nigeria and assassinate the president, they also theaten mass slaughter of Christians. The U.S. Navy ship USS Harry Truman, standing by, sends in A.K. Waters (Bruce Willis) to evacuate American doctor Lena Hendricks (Monica Bellucci). But when Waters finds her, he determines that he cannot leave behind a group of refugees whose lives are also threatened.

Indian actor/British soap star Jimi Mistry is Ramu Gupta, a young man seeking stardom in America. His first acting job is as Sharonna's (Heather Graham) love machine in a porn flick, but things don't work out. Then, during a waiting job, he is mistaken for a guru by socialite Lexi (Marisa Tomei) and the rest, as they say, is history. Or misery. We'll see.

Bringing Down the House (PG-13)
Steve Martin plays a successful tax attorney who has neglected his personal life, causing his wife (Jean Smart) to walk out on him with the kids. Despairing, he turns to the personals and calls on a woman who appears to share his interest in the law. She turns out to be Charlene (Queen Latifah), a conniving ex-con who wants his legal representation and descends on his household. Eugene Levy is Howie, a friend who becomes enamored of the black goddess in his lily-white friend's life.
