Meanwhile, an old friend of Dubya's shared some audiotapes in which the president affirms (while vowing never to admit it publicly) that he's smoked marijuana, and maybe more ...

Bush joined the National Guard to evade Vietnam and admitted that he's smoked pot. Respond to this parallel. Ten years ago, they were saying Clinton was unfit to lead because he was a draft-evading drug user in his youth. But these same conservatives see no problem with Bush.

    Should marijuana be decriminalized? There's a lot of information showing that it has medical benefits, and I'd say that a good 50 percent of the population has used it more than once.

    What difference is there between Clinton and Bush during the Vietnam years? They both evaded my brother's fate -- he got drafted and sent to Vietnam. But I'd say it takes more brains to get a Rhodes Scholarship than it does to get your well-connected dad to get you into the National Guard.
