At the Business of Art Center you can see the actual photographs featured in this week's issue of the Independent in FOCUS: 24 Hours in the Pikes Peak Region. They'll hang on the walls of the Garage at 515 Manitou Ave. until Dec. 31 but the opening reception takes place Friday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. Call 685-1861 for more.
Just down the street at the Manitou Center for Photography, 103 Ruxton Ave., photographer and teacher Carol Dass has organized another show of photographs by her UCCS students titled OverExposed. The opening reception is also from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Call 963-8501.
At Phototroph Gallery, beneath the Colorado Avenue bridge at 218 W.
