Whether or not you jiggle when you run, you can leave the Jell-O at home. "Somebody always brings Jell-O," says Jon Cornick, organizer of today's Pikes Peak Road Runners Full Moon Run. "I'm not sure why." Not that a couple dozen hungry men and women will turn it down after putting in either two or four miles at Red Rock Canyon Open Space. The group outing starts at 7 p.m., with friendly dogs welcome, and tailgating might last until 9. And honestly, when it comes to the post-run rations, feel free to bring wine, cookies, fruit salad, whatever — this crowd's not picky. Says Cornick: "Even plain saltine crackers go good after a trail run." — Kirk Woundy
