Plate closes at Briargate
North side gourmet restaurant packs it in months before its third birthday

Plate World Cuisine (9420 Briar Village Point) closed its doors for good after service on Monday, July 20. According to co-owner Walter Iser, “It’s just the economy — a lack of spending in the area.”
Plate, one of the few gourmet, creative, independent restaurants on the Springs north side, would have turned three years old this November. Iser says that fortunately, business at Walter’s Bistro (146 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd.) remains strong.
