With a washtub bass and plenty of vintage good times "alt-twang" country to get your toe metronome a tappin', Denver's Marty Jones and the Pork Boilin' Poor Boys will be rockin' their beloved shizzlety fizzle at Southside Johnny's on Wednesday night. Think Mojo Nixon beats up Brian Setzer and you'll have some idea of what's in store. Marty and his boys -- lead guitarist Dane "Wichita" Hunter, rhythm guitarist Chuckabilly Cuthill and stand-up drummer Will Sahs -- have just released Full Boar, their second full-length CD, and will be playing instant classics like "Next Time You See Me (I'll Be Dead)" while you stuff your face with greasy Southside fare and swill more beer as the good times get even gooder.
This is awesome! Excited about the new music and adventures for his year!
Thanks so much!!!
Hah! Similarly, one, if famous, should not die in December, as all those who passed…
