Eyes Caught Fire with Idiolectic Conception

Ideal candidate will be young, hot, musically talented and idealistic with a history of community service and at least two years prior experience. If this sounds like you, then you're probably already in the band Eyes Caught Fire, and your name is probably: Kellie, Joel, Dustin, Lydia or Noah. If this doesn't describe you, then you'll still want to go to Jack Quinn's this Saturday night to check out this multivalent quintet of astral-plane-noise-pop practitioners. Formed almost two years ago, Eyes unabashedly embraces the lofty ambition of "providing release for the repressed spiritual state of being existing in our culture." Aside from that double gerund, that's something all of us could probably use. Not only that, but they like Beowulf. Eyes has already played fund-raisers in Denver and opened for the likes of Against Tomorrow's Sky, 34 Satellite and Laymen Terms. Eyes will be joined by the always-rousing hip-hop caravan Idiolectic Conception.
