Irrational Exuberance Armstrong Quad at Colorado College, Sunday, July 11, at 6 p.m., Free Not many musical descriptions try to destroy my computer. Still, Irrational Exuberance's self-declaration of their title as "the original polkabillyjazzgrasspsychopunkbluesgroovers" made my spell-checker weep. As local favorites, all can be forgiven, for their talent and prodigious love for all genres is genuine. Luckily, everyone can enjoy the six-piece ensemble as they perform on Sunday, July 11, as part of Colorado College's Summer Music Festival. The group consists of Malcolm Lucard on guitar and mandolin, vocalist and percussionist Crystal Bliss Brandl, Jeremy Van Hoy on trombone, bassist Matt Hollensbe, John Litchenberg on drums, and keyboardist Greg Borom. Bring a blanket, a picnic and a friend -- you're sure to hear something that will sate your aural palate.
