Let's just get this out of the way: Touch and Go Records puts out a great product. Responsible for the likes of !!!, Henry Rollins, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Blonde Redhead, it's a good bet that whomever they toss on tour is gonna make you shake your rump. Enter Supersystem, a NY/DC foursome formerly known as El Guapo. Bursting out of the gates with a new full-length album, Always Never Again, the boys are cleverly disguised as emo softies. But underneath that ringer-tee exterior lie hearts made of pure dance punk. We're talking crazy synth-pop, heavily laced with ethnic beats. Don't wait for a better reason to go see them.
