Remember that part in 8 Mile, when Eminem is readying to battle, but Tony Danza butts in to explain that true happiness comes from living off the land? Me neither. But if freestyle inspires you, Boulder Street Coffee Roasters (332 N. Tejon St.) is giving you a chance to tap your inner b-boy/girl with its weekly Mixed Blend. It's not a delicious beverage, but an open turntable and mic night, every Friday from 6 to 10. Get there early to sign your bad self up.
