So, when Reverb was a kid, how come middle school wasn't like it is today? I mean, we had "Square One," with "Mathnet" and all, but that's nothing compared to live, professional song-and-dance performances or principals strapped into hoverchairs. Honeywell and NASA (freakin' NASA?) have teamed up for the FMA Live! tour, which hits Fox Meadow Middle School (1450 Cheyenne Meadows Road) on Wednesday, March 8. The lucky ducks there will be treated to stunt demos, including the launch of a hapless student onto a 10-foot Velcro wall, and get this rappers and singers. The performers supposedly will break it down, G-style, about Newton's laws of physics, with tasty lyrics like, "Now the word for this condition won't hurt ya / Keeps you moving forward / It's called inertia." And yes, I can make fun of it all I want. But I'm still kinda jealous.
