Endangered species released into the wild at Walker Ranch 

Scamper free, black-footed ferret!

Prairie dogs strip grasslands down to nothing, so the land becomes non-productive. Releasing black-footed ferrets helps control the prairie dog population and -- hopefully -- preserves a species native to Colorado.
