Consider the following a list of the top five reasons why you should know the guys from DeVotchKa: 1. They're a big-time band based in Denver. 2. They play gypsy punk, with instruments including the theremin and bouzouki. 3. They started out as a backing band in burlesque shows. 4. They scored the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack, which then scored them a Grammy nomination. 5. Ask some coworkers what they think of when they hear the word "Cirque," and you'll get answers like "acrobats," "Vegas" and "flying sex act." Luckily for you and your kids, only one of those describes Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy at 8 tonight at the Pikes Peak Center (190 S. Cascade Ave.): The family-friendly show features a cast of aerialists, contortionists and vine swingers in a dream-like enchanted forest. He's been described as the "sultry saxman," and I really have no follow-up comment on that. But if you like jazz saxophone and want to catch one of the contemporary greats, then check out Marion Meadows at 8 tonight at Mr. Biggs Event Center (5825 Mark Dabling Blvd.). Meadows will be joined by guest musicians Tony Exum Jr. and Brian Simpson. It being Easter Sunday today, why not try a new way to honor the day? Like say waking up really early to make it to the South rim of the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park (4218 County Road 3A, Cañon City) for a 6:30 Easter Sunrise Service. It's completely free and open to the community and features live music by solo bagpiper Sam Swancutt. You won't get that or the big sky and spectacular scenery at your usual church of worship today probably. The service should only last an hour and gates open at 6. So, I was talking to my angel, and I was asking her what I should do this week. OK ... so it was really the girl serving coffee at my favorite bookstore, and she had no ideas. But then I heard about this program today at Adam's Mountain Caf (934 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs). It's a lunch-and-learn program called "How to Talk to Your Angels ... and Get Answers!" Upon hearing the words "big gun," the first thing most of us envision is being at the gym, in full black spandex attire, and flexing biceps in front of the mirror. Now, no offense, but trust me: Your meaty beasts are nothing compared to what's coming to the Thirsty Parrot (32 S. Tejon St.) tonight, when Big Gun performs some of the best rock music of all time. The AC/DC tribute band was started in 2001 in Knoxville, Tenn., and its tour of 12 states is stopping in our very own downtown. Prepare to be thunderstruck at 8. It's spring break for many kids, and Imagination Celebration has parents of pre-K through fifth-graders covered today with local artist Jesse Wilson's one-man performance of The Night the Moon Ate My Room!. Wilson will tell the tale of a boy who is visited by the moon and hears magical stories and learns valuable lessons. The magic takes place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the
