Smaller, faster, stronger 

If you bike 500-plus miles in six days, you’re probably built a little differently than the rest of us. Consequently, your gear will be, too.

Mike Vidovich, general manager of Pro Cycling Warehouse (600 S. 21st St., procyclingwarehouse.com), took time earlier this month to show us some of the high-end products that racers may use at some point during the USA Pro Cycling Challenge. More economical alternatives exist for recreational cyclists, but on the professional level, it’s a carbon-fiber world.
