If you could do a "spring break" anywhere you wanted, where would you go? Bora Bora. It's exotic and a long ways away.
What's your best-ever spring break experience? Last year at this time, I was in the Holy Land. My daughter was in the Peace Corps in Jordan, so we visited Jordan and Jerusalem. Against the advice of a lot of people, we also visited the West Bank and met a lot of great Palestinian people.
If you could "spring clean" the White House, who'd go? Karl Rove, the chief "puppetician."
Who's going to win the NCAA men's basketball tournament? Kansas they're"a No. 1 seed and a force to be reckoned with.

When do you know it's really spring? When it gets above 50 degrees.
Where would you "spring break" if you could do it anywhere in the world? Puerto Vallarta. It's warm and tropical with beautiful beaches.
What's your best spring break memory? St. Paddy's day in a pub in Ireland, where I'm from everyone having fun, everyone's friends, lots to drink.
Who'll win the NCAAs? The L.A. Lakers?

What signals spring's arrival for you? Valentine's Day. After that, it's a pinch warmer and people start trying to be outside more, even if it's cold.
If you could "spring break" anywhere you wanted, where would it be? Mexico's Caribbean coast, preferably Cancun or Cozumel.
What's your favorite spring break memory? When I came to Steamboat Springs during spring break in 1980 and decided this is where I want to live for the rest of my life.
If you could spring-clean the White House, who'd go? The portrait of LBJ.
Who'll win the NCAA tourney? Georgetown, because of their mascot, Jack the Bulldog.

When is it truly spring for you? When it's consistently above 65.
What's the biggest"change spring brings for you? Being able to go outside more often.
If you could go anywhere on spring break, where would it be? San Diego. Short flight, nice weather. I've always wanted to go there.
What's your favorite spring break story? The year I visited a friend in New York City. We stayed at the New York Fashion Institute of Technology, an all-girls college. That was fun.
If you could do spring-cleaning in the White House, who'd you sweep out? I'm not a big fan of the war, so I'd begin with President Bush. Cheney'd be next.
Who's going to win the NCAA tourney? I don't even know who's in it.
