The Incident

When: Mon., March 7, 6:30 p.m. 2011
Price: $5, plus one non-perishable food item.

In filming 1990's made-for-TV movie The Incident, stars like Walter Matthau, as well as a hundred resident extras, sat in the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum's gorgeous wood-paneled, upstairs courtroom. They would have used Fort Carson, too, in the film about a POW camp at the fictitious Camp Bremen, but were denied access by the Department of Defense. Alas, shooting lasted only 33 days here in the Springs. But enjoy the views at a 6:30 screening tonight at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center (10 S. Parkside Drive, stargazerstheatre.com) as part of its WWII film series. Costs are $5 and a non-perishable food donation. — Edie Adelstein
