The Southern Colorado Brewers Association (SCBA) member breweries have each brewed an IPA to be collectively tapped on May 16. One dollar from each pint sold will be donated to SCBA.
The following descriptions provided directly by participating SCBA mambers.
A variation of their West Coast seasonal Good Day IPA, replacing the Simcoe hops in this version with Citra.
Rye IPA single hopped with Southern Cross hops. Notes of citrus, spice, and pine.
Single hopped citra IPA
Session IPA single hopped with hallertau blanc hops.
Bright Northeast hops meet tropical paradise in this classic Duoble IPA. Notes of grapefruit, citrus, pine, melon, lychee and passion fruit.
Aloe Vera IPA uses fresh Aloe vera leaves to bring a moderate fruity character on the nose, with a natural vegetal bitterness complemented by the CTZ hops. Falconer's Flight, Amarillo, and Citra hops lend pleasant green and tropical notes to the nose, complementing the gentle honeyed character from the Aloe vera juice added in secondary. Finely carbonated pale gold and a sessionable 5.8%.
Nano 108 house IPA. Five different hops added five different times throughout the brew process. Big hop flavors of fruit, pine and citrus from the first sip lasts long afterwards. Light malt backbone doesn't get in the way of all the hops. Dry and bitter finish.
SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) IPA featuring Vienna malt and Centennial hops.
American IPA brewed with experimental hop varieties. Fruity and floral notes
Variation of The Riddler, an "imperial session" IPA, dry hopped with Mosaic hops.
The pucker power of a lactobacillus fermented kettle sour paired with tart black currant. This sessionable sour IPA has a touch of coriander and is heavily hopped with Amarillo.
Mango IPA brewed with Horizon, Centennial, Simcoe, Amarillo and Mosaic hops. Tropical fruit on the nose, a clean bitter with a sweet mango finish.
30-day IPA. A blend of 5 hops with a medium citrus bite.
