Tiger Poo from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

When: Wed., May 21 2014

It's a summer morning and you're outside, coffee in hand, surveilling the garden, when you notice the tell-tale munch-marks of the neighborhood deer on your veggie patch. Nothing has thwarted these suckers, but perhaps tiger poo will send a message. Well, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road, tiny.cc/po2ufx) will gladly give you the leftovers from its tigers, lions (African, not mountain) and leopards to help deter the local wildlife. No, this isn't fertilizer, and yes, it will smell, but what you buy will help zoo operations. Make an appointment between Tuesdays and Saturdays and for $2 a pound (15-pound minimum), you too can have the shittiest yard on the block. — Edie Adelstein
