For the last 14 years, the Business of Art Center (513 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs, thebac.org) has displayed superior talent from students across the region, and given their show the German title that translates to "wonder child" or, less directly, "prodigy." Yet with a gift, as Truman Capote said, you also get a whip for self-flagellation. So perhaps the Wunderkind 2013 class could use support from the artists of Wunderkind Alumni — like Jonas McCluggage — also at the BAC. Both shows opened Friday with a reception at 6 and stay up, Wednesdays through Mondays, until April 20. — Edie Adelstein
