WWJD on the 22nd

This week Easter commemorates the magical return of Jesus from the dead. With all of the egg hunts, church services, prayer circles and theatrical interpretations of his life, JC may be feeling a little self-conscious. In an attempt to escape the spotlight, he'll give it up to Fountain-boy-made-good, Garry Carson. Carson left the small town to follow his dream, becoming a first-rate magician. And now with wife Kelsey -- a former Ms. Las Vegas and Ms. Nevada -- by his side, Carson returns to his hometown to amaze and entertain with his magic and illusions. Carson will perform two shows, at 4 and 7 p.m., at the Widefield High auditorium, 615 Widefield Drive. Tickets are $6-$8. Call 392-5668.
